C. BERGER GROUP
FOUNDER ADDRESSES
Carol Stream, IL, March 26, 2004 -- Carol A. Berger,
founder and Manager, Marketing Communications for the C. Berger Group, Inc.
(CBG) the Midwest’s leading library personnel and information management firm,
participated as a panelist at the 13th annual Staffing Industry Executive Forum,
held in Chicago, March 21-24, 2004. The focus of this year's conference was
"Moving Up the Customer Value Chain". Ms. Berger joined two other
business owners in a discussion of how their small successful staffing firms
increased value for their customers and why their actions worked.
In her remarks, Carol presented an overview of CBG's
history and services, touching on the peer relationships that her firm
established with its clients and its emphasis on quality services and
recruiting. "Over half of all librarians currently employed will be leaving
the profession by the end of this decade," said Ms. Berger. "CBG has
had great success meeting the growing demand for library specialists by
recruiting them through our Web site and partnering with the nation's 50
graduate library schools and local community colleges."
The session was moderated by Jeff Reeder, Managing Editor
of SIReview. Mr. Reeder invited Ms. Berger to speak at the program after
interviewing her for a feature article entitled, "Library Staffing: Worth
Checking Out," which appeared in the March, 2004 issue of SIReview.
More than 400 global staffing industry company presidents,
CEOs, owners, executive officers and suppliers attended the intensive four day
event which combined targeted financial and management sessions with networking
opportunities. The Staffing Industry Executive Forum is hosted by Staffing
Industry Analysts, a leading provider of business intelligence, market data,
news and analysis to staffing industry executives and employers who use
contingent/temporary staff. Headquartered in California, the company has
produced newsletters, magazines and directories, conducted benchmarking and
statistical research, and sponsored conferences at major sites throughout the
U.S. since 1989.
