CBG Benefits at a Glance

We believe our field workers are our greatest resource. And for that reason, we offer a benefits program designed especially for our active workforce.

 

401(k)

This benefit enables CBG field workers to dedicate some of their pay for retirement before taxes.  Active field workers 21 years of age or older are eligible to participate in the plan once they have completed six months of service.

Client Referral Bonus

Refer a new organization (or new department within an existing client) and receive a bonus when CBG is hired to supply consulting or staffing services.

Continuing Education

CBG field workers earn Continuing Education (CE) points for each hour worked.  CE points can be used for workshops, meetings, classes, or professional memberships.

Credit Union Membership

CBG has a corporate membership within the DuPage Credit Union (DCU).  All CBG staff and field workers are eligible to become DCU members.  Once a member with DCU, always a member even if the worker terminates employment with CBG.

Medical / Dental Insurance

CBG will assist our field workers in finding insurance plans that will fit their needs and budget by providing information about various companies that offer short- or long-term plans.  CBG's insurance broker will also be available to discuss options with them directly.

Paid Time Off

After completing the specified hours of work for CBG, field workers begin to accumulate paid time off (PTO). PTO can be used in any way, such as for holidays, illness, vacation and personal time.

Refer A Friend Bonus

This applies when an active field worker refers a friend with library experience or aptitude for library work to CBG for temporary or permanent employment.  Once the friend successfully completes the specified hours, our field worker earns a bonus.

Resume Review

CBG Specialists will review field workers' resumes and advise them on how to present their library experience to their best advantage.

SportsMed Center for Fitness

Field workers can use the facilities of the SportsMed Center for Fitness at a reduced rate.  The facility is located within the same building as the CBG office and offers a lap pool, jogging track, aerobics classes, exercise machines, weights and much more.

Workers' Compensation

Medical expenses for field workers injured on assignment are covered by Workers’ Compensation Insurance services. Any job-related incident should be reported immediately to the CBG Business Operations department in order to protect the benefits under this plan.
